What to expect at your family pictures session

Hey there!

If you're wondering what to expect on picture day for your family portrait session, I’ve got you covered! Here’s a little peek at how things usually flow:

1. A Quick Meet & Greet:
   I love to take a few minutes at the start to get to know you and your crew. It helps everyone feel comfortable and it lets me see those genuine smiles that make for the best photos!

2. A Little Warm-Up
   We'll ease into things with some "warm-up" shots. These are just simple, fun photos to get everyone used to the camera (and how I like to move around and guide you into the best poses).

3. The Main Event
   Then it’s picture-taking time! For the next hour to hour and a half we’ll explore our location (or locations) together. We’ll mix things up—some posed shots, some candid and even outfit changes if you'd like. Throughout it all I’ll be there to help you with posing and making sure everyone looks their best and feels at ease.

4. Wrapping It Up
   We’ll wind down, share a few laughs and then head out. After that I’ll get right to work retouching your images to make them perfect for you!
