In April 2024, I had the joy of capturing the Jenkins family's delightful Mommy and Me session. Leslie brought her two beautiful daughters, AnnTaylor and AdaGrace, to create timeless memories. This session was filled with laughter, love, and playful energy.  We had their session at The Claiborne House Bed and Breakfast in Rocky Mount.

A Day of Joy and Connection

The day was perfect, with warm sunshine and a gentle breeze. Leslie and her girls were dressed in coordinating outfits that reflected their vibrant personalities. AnnTaylor, the oldest, brought a sense of grace and elegance, while AdaGrace's playful spirit shone brightly. 

From the moment we started, it was clear that this session was going to be special. Leslie, AnnTaylor, and AdaGrace were all smiles ready to share their love for each other in front of the camera. We began with a few posed shots capturing secrets being told to each other. Leslie's eyes sparkled as she held her daughters close and the girls responded with sweet kisses and laughter.

Twirling and Playing

One of the highlights of the session was when the girls started twirling in their dresses. AnnTaylor led the way gracefully spinning in circles with her dress flowing beautifully. AdaGrace quickly joined in, her giggles filling the air. It was a wonderful moment that captured childhood joy and laughter.

We also played a few fun games to keep the energy high. From ring around the rosies to hide-and-seek they were all fully engaged with their laughter echoing through the back yard. These candid moments are some of my favorites to capture—unscripted, genuine, and full of life.

A Sweet Ending with Blue Slushies

To celebrate a successful session, Leslie treated AnnTaylor and AdaGrace to blue slushies!  After they took of their beautiful dresses of course. This added a fun, playful touch to the end of our time together.
